Governance

The Queen’s Gate Gardens Committee is responsible for the management of the Gardens. The Committee’s responsibilities are many including:
  • Ensuring the premises are maintained properly
  • The health and safety regulations are upheld
  • The  trees and vegetation are cared for properly so to enhance and not harm the surrounding community
  • The membership is managed with integrity, fairness and all the monies are appropriate and tracked accordingly
  • The maintenance and approval of annual accounts prepared by a chartered accountant
  • Proper guidelines are instituted and enforced to ensure the gardens and its members are properly preserved and protected
  • Local and state regulations are upheld
  • The Gardens are properly insured
  • The surrounding community is appropriately enhanced
The Committee works hard on a volunteer basis to ensure the Gardens are well-cared for throughout the year.
